China sold more than 28,000 tonnes of imported corn at auction on Friday, according to the country’s grains stockpiler.
Sinograin sold 5,551 tonnes of imported non-GMO corn, or 18% of a total 31,539 tonnes of the grain offered at auction, a notice on the stockpiler’s website showed.
It also sold 22,747 imported GMO corn, or 18% of the total offer, a separate notice on the company’s website said.
