The vessel that is all set to become the world’s largest cruise ship with a double occupancy of more than 5,000 guests had been put through a test drive by shipbuilder Chantiers de l’Atlantique.

The trials were undertaken to examine its performance metrics, tuning its propulsion, and also the engine settings. The process also involved third-party vendors for benchmarking equipment.

Next up are some final tweaking and remaining outfitting. This is expected to wrap up soon. Besides, in November the ship is expected to be handed over to the Royal Caribbean. If everything goes per plan, the Oasis-class vessel will sail in 2022 in Asia.

The first cruise has been scheduled for March 26.
