Manufacturer of safety products and systems, Jotron, has released Tron AIS TR-8000 MkII, an enhanced automatic identification system (AIS) for the maritime market.
Tron AIS TR-8000 MkII complies with Bridge Alert Management (BAM) requirements and is designed for inland waterways. It is also enhanced with the inclusion of blue sign information transmissions for safe navigation within European inland waterways.
Tron AIS TR-8000 MkII is approved in accordance with the latest AIS Class A standard (IEC 61993-2:2018), mandatory from August 29, 2021. There are several redesigned features such as extra display ports. Tron AIS TR-8000 MkII has a separate display and transceiver unit, both compact designs for simple installation and retrofit.
