As per the Cruise Ships in Service Report, more than 200 ships are to set sail in September. The cruise industry is all set to start cruises with total capacity passengers.
It is expected that there will be 205 cruise ships in total, which is around 50% of the worldwide ocean-going cruise fleets. However, the biggest news of all in September is the reintroduction of mega-ships from US ports.
It includes Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas from Bayonne, New Jersey, and MSC’s Divina and the Disney Fantasy from Port Canaveral.
The largest operator to stand out in September will be the Royal Caribbean International, followed by MSC Cruises and Carnival Cruise Line. The Carnival Glory, Pride and Dream, and Norwegian’s Epic Getaway and Breakaway are some other vital vessels all set to be their operations again.
Two more Costa ships, the Diadema and Fascinosa, will join the action in Europe as they are set to sail from Savona.
