The largest yacht in the world has been unveiled and she is so huge that a new category has been created for her: it is the ‘yachtliner’. The launch of ‘Somnio’ is expected in 2024. Only a few from privileged groups will get the chance to go inside to view the 500 million euro boat.

The chosen 39 members will get to experience life on the ocean waters like no other, on a boat designed by the world’s most well-known architecture and design studios, Tillberg Design of Sweden and London-based Winch Design.

The apartments are spread over six decks, each completely customizable. A gym, personal kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining space, library, and separate changing rooms are some of the notable features. There is ample scope for shared amenities.
Besides, apartment owners can access a fantastic wine cellar, which can store up to 10,000 bottles and a tasting room, a choice of bars and restaurants, and a beach club with dynamic water sports facilities.
Best-in-class medical care and facilities will be available onboard, providing apartment owners with the highest level of protection and safety away from the pandemic and global risks.

Once guests are settled on board, Somnio will set sail for the four corners of the globe, embarking on eco-missions as it does.
Advanced onboard equipment will aid scientists and other marine experts in researching ocean environments. Some internationally recognized experts will also be joining Somnio’s itinerary to keep owners informed about global challenges and share solutions to environmental as well as philanthropic matters.
The pioneering project is headed by Captain Erik Bredhe, the Somnio co-founder. He was the former captain of M/V The World, which is the only houseboat at sea to date.
