Royal Dutch Shell’s RDSa.L Nigerian subsidiary SPDC lifted force majeure on loadings of Forcados crude oil on Sept. 9, a spokesman for the company said on Friday.
“(SPDC) has lifted the Force Majeure on Crude Handling Services and the Forcados Oil Terminal Offtake Programme effective 1300 Nigerian time on Thursday 09 September 2021, following the completion of the repair works around the loading buoy,” the spokesman said.
Loadings of the major crude stream have been under force majeure since mid-August. Forcados loadings are scheduled to be about 240,000 barrels per day in September.
